​RISE Sport Performance Training: What to Expect


In order to achieve maximum results, RISE Sport Performance Training builds tailored training programs specifically for you. Before starting a program, we will sit down and discuss your history and goals, and decide together the type of training style that will best suit your needs.


Before beginning any program, you will be put through a movement assessment, including the Functional Movement Screen, along with a series of performance tests. This information allows us to tailor a training program specifically to address your weaknesses and inefficiencies, while continuing to build your strengths.

Training Styles:

Private Memberships - You will receive 2 coached sessions to go through your program. Afterwards, you will have access to the facility to train during "open hours" - where you will be supervised and guided as needed. Don't worry if you forget an exercise or the whole warm up - that is what your coach is here for! :) We find that once an athlete trains with us for a few weeks, our system becomes engrained.

At regular intervals, your program is updated, you receive a coached session to explain the changes, with additional guidance during "open hours." This option is best suitable for those 14 years and older.

Small Group Training - You train with a performance coach with a small group of 3-6 athletes. You still receive individualized adjustments to your program, but have a semi-private session with a dedicated coach for your training session. Great option for youth athletes. 

Team Training - You train with a performance coach as a team (2 coaches with greater than 10 athletes). This is ideal for school or club teams. Not only will you see improvements on an individual basis, but more importantly, as a team.​

A comprehensive strength and conditioning program is a must for bridging the gap from being ‘good’ and ‘great.’ Our programs emphasize explosive strength and power, while developing proper movement patterns for sound athletic development. We do not do generic personal training programs, as they have no place in sports. To achieve your best requires training based on your sport biomechanics, physiology, and individual strengths and weaknesses. You are an athlete. You have goals. We incorporate functional movement screens – assessments used in the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NCAA – ‘prehab’ exercises to prevent injury and improve functional movement, along with exercises and conditioning techniques that will transfer into your sport.
